Inlets or air intakes play a decorative role, with manufacturer logo placed on them, also additional lights, as well as adding a unique character of the front of the vehicle. In addition to their visual role, they direct the air flow to the components specified by the vehicle constructors, e.g., the brakes or the charge air cooler, the so-called intercooler.
